Olympia Clinical Trials is a large clinical trials center with top experts in California, originally founded in 2013.

 

Our site includes a fully staffed quality assurance department, that monitors compliance and constant staff training.  Our focus is on patient safety, and innovative research for the benefit of public health.  We recognize that our professionals are the core of any successful clinical trial.  We have a full-time tri-lingual (English, Spanish, Russian) staff.  Geographically, we are fortunate to be in the greater LA county, allowing us to easily recruit from a large, diverse population.

Lead Investigator

Dr. Oleg Bess, renowned for his diamond-cutter precision laparoscopic surgeries, has an extraordinary ability to reverse chronic gynecological issues. Dr. Bess’ techniques are groundbreaking and his technology is always state of the art. Dr. Bess is world renowned for being at the forefront of gynecological, laparoscopic surgery. He has his hand on the pulse of cutting edge surgical techniques and tools. Dr. Bess is also famous for minimizing the physical effects of his surgeries, using the smallest, state-of-the-art surgical tools to minimize the invasiveness of even the most complex surgeries.

Dr. Ludmila Bess

The maternal ways of Dr. Ludmila Bess are felt throughout the Bess practice. She has the ability to get to the heart of the matter, diagnose, comfort and treat patients in a way that makes them feel nurtured, truly cared for, and important. When dealing with acute gynecological issues, you need to know that your vulnerability is in kind and gentle hands. You will leave feeling part of the family.

Dr. Bess launched her career in her native Russia and then came to the Untied States in 1979 and continued her education.

Dr. Carla Spades
Investigator

Dr. Spades was born and raised in Los Angeles. She graduated from California State University, Los Angeles, and moved on to attend UCLA where she obtained her medical degree as well as a Masters degree in Public Health focused on Community Health Sciences. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was awarded the Kenneth J. Ryan Residency Training Award for Excellence and Dedication to Family Planning, as well as the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology. She is particularly passionate about minimally invasive techniques in Gynecologic surgery and preconception counseling.

Dr. Zoya Preys
Investigator

Dr. Preys graduated from UCLA medical school and did her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at USC. While at USC, she became interested in cosmetic procedures involving the genitalia. In particular, she worked on multiple complex vaginal restorations on patients that had female circumcision.

Dr. Preys is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also part of the teaching faculty at both Cedars Sinai and USC Medical School.

In private practice since 2000, she practices all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology with special interest in vaginal cosmetic procedures and diagnosis/treatment of cervical dysplasia/HPV lesions.
